HERATY
Hi, I'm looking for any information regarding the Heraty family from Co. Mayo,Ireland.

Daniel Heraty, born about 1802 in Doon or Doon Castle, Parish of Agaghour, Co. Mayo, Ireland, died Feb. 19, 1875 in Mitchell, Sheboygan Co., WI. He married Bridget Flannery, born about 1806 in Ireland, died April 14, 1881 in Mitchell, Sheb. Co., WI. The family emigrated from Liverpool to Canada about 1846 on the ship Manchester of Cork, with Uncles Thomas and James Heraty and their families.
The children of Daniel & Bridget were:
1. 6 sons who died before emigration to America
2. Martin who died on the ship during emigration and is buried in Montreal.
3. Mary Heraty born December 1836 in Ireland, died 1922 in Mitchell, Sheb. Co., WI, married John O'Connell (My gr gr grandparents)
4. Thomas born December 11, 1836, married May 24, 1865 to Mary Ann Scanlon
5. Catherine Heraty born 1843, died Aug 23, 1914 in Osceola, Wi, married Miles Gallagher.
**Mary Heraty married John O'Connell , they had Mary Agnes:
Mary Agnes O'Connell born July 25, 1857 , died 1943 in Mitchell, married George W. Lindsay (my gr grandparents). They had Bidella:
Bidella Lindsay, born Sept. 1889, died 1963 in Milwaukee, married Charles Palmer Ford, my grandparents.

Haraghey
I hope I can get some information about my great grandmother, Margaret Haraghey. I only know of her from birth, baptismal and death records of 5 of her children who immigrated to Minnesota in 1870's to 1880's. She married Neil McMullen and her children's births were registered in the Mountcharles District, Glencoagh Townland, Inver Parish, Inver RC Parish in County Donegal. However, I do not have any records for her or her husband Neil. Thanks so much for setting up the web page!
