The primary purpose of this web site is to provide a Directory of Information Sources to help you research Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)

My main focus is on Ireland, UK.

I recommend the following three resources to get you started.

(1) Dr Chris Steele from ITV’s “This Morning” Programme has released a 5 minute video on to YouTube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p5nhzP2OaI

(2) Mary Boyle Bradley’s Blogtalk Radio

In particular, listen to the interviews from:-

Dr Phil Boyle, Galway, Ireland

Dr Bob Lawrence, Swansea, Wales

Dr Burt Berkson, USA

Dr Jacqueline McCandless, USA

Dr Ian Zagon, USA

I have a full list of the radio shows, with dates broadcast, names of guests, and subjects covered;- click on  Radio

Or go direct to the blogtalkradio site at

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/mary-boyle-bradley

(3) John Donnelly, Dublin, Ireland has set up a Database where LDN Users record their experience with LDN

 http://www.ldndatabase.com/

Once you have availed of these three resources, you should be ready to carry on your research as you think appropriate.

Just go to the Info Sources link which is at the top and bottom of each page.

As you visit various the information resources, you will most likely find that many of the links keep popping up again and again.

Please note that new resources are continually being provided, so it is impossible to keep a Directory such as this up to date.

Various news items are recorded on the News page.

Some photos are on the Photos page.

Most of the information currently available is in the English language, but there are currently sites to cover Bulgarian, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, and Polish languages, with links on the Other Language page.

If you would like to contact me for more information, or just to get news updates please use the email address on the Contact Us page.

The UK LDN Petition closed on 23rd Nov 2009 with 13,028 signatures. Dr Chris Steele presented the Petition to No. 10 Downing St. on 01st Dec 2009, along with support documentation. Information relating to this is on the UK Petition page.

The response from No. 10 Downing St. said:  “....The Department of Health’s National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) supports the research most likely to bring benefits to patients and to the NHS.  High quality proposals for support into any aspect of human health are always welcome.  The NIHR Health Technology Assessment programme in particular is keen to receive suggestions for research topics in areas of market failure.  These can be sent through the open access form at: www.hta.ac.uk/suggest/index.shtml.  ......”

Andrew Barnett had already submitted LDN as a research topic, and the initial response from HTA was negative. This has been protested, and we understand that HTA have agreed to reopen this topic. In the meantime we have submitted a second suggestion. More information relating to this is on the NIHR HTA page.

The Scottish LDN Petition closed on 22nd Nov 2009, having gained 1,201 signatures in just 1 month. A presentation was made to the Scottish Parliament Petitions Committee on 01st Dec 2009. Information relating to this is on the Scottish Petition page.

A petition the European Parliament is now underway. Information relating to this is on the EU Petition page.

The LDN Petitions opened doors to politicians, to the media, to medical professional, and to many others. Media coverage received by the LDNNow team, and other media interest in LDN is recorded on the Media page.

Sometimes one comes across interesting articles, but when you look for them again, you may have lost the link, or the article may have been removed. I have downloaded some items that I found interesting and have recorded them on the Info Pack page.

Posters, brochures, signature forms, and other aids used to promote the LDN petitions are recorded on the Petition Aids page.
